***tl;dr we launch THURSDAY, anyone can wear anything, profits from BANDITxMAG will be donated to the Hawthorne Community Fridge, and please take advantage of our contact forum!***
This has been a JOURNEY. I thought about italicizing that, but all-caps more accurately encapsulates the context here cuz let me tell you–*deep sigh*– it is CHARGED with every obstacle that wedged itself between me and the finishline of BANDIT’s first official collection.
Nevertheless, Thursday is almost here and I am ecstatic!
So, here’s what you need to know:
You belong here.
Please–and I cannot stress this enough— buy what you like! None of the clothing in this brand is intentionally gendered, despite what the photos may depict. Everything is for everyone. PERIOD. And I seriously can’t wait to see how you all show off your BANDITxSTYLE!
We have a Magazine in the works!
BANDITxMAG was an aspect of BANDIT that emerged in the process of building this first clothing collection when I realized I wanted a way to showcase the promo shoots as well as other skater-creators outside of social media. Thus, BANDITxMAG was born. Vol. 1 not only has the complete BANDIT Collection 1 Lookbook, but a bit about who we are, an interview with an absolutely amazing skate organization, as well as some original artwork from a couple skaters we admire and a few other treats! Coming this winter! And this isn’t even the best part!
Service to the Community
For vol. 1, all the profits from BANDITxMAG will be donated to the Hawthorne Community Fridge in Los Angeles, CA in the form of food and supplies. (I promise to document the process of purchasing and servicing the Community Fridge so you can all see where your money is going. Integrity is a virtue, but in this case, I want it to be very clear that we aren’t weird and scammy lol.) Future volumes of BANDITxMAG will also be donated to different community organizations we believe are having a positive impact on the world around them.
Please talk to us lol
The last thing to know about the official BANDIT launch is that we are a growing, learning and ever changing collection of thoughts, people, artwork, designs, ideas, and so forth. If you have any concerns, grievances, suggestions, or feedback please do not hesitate to share via our contact forum. We want this to be an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for everyone on each platform we find ourselves on. Anything you have to say is helpful to us in the longevity of this brand.
And I think that about covers it! Thank you all for being here and I can’t wait to see you again!
Best wishes!
